"Lucky" -- Lucky's Quix Trix

15 yr old Roan AQHA Gelding, 14.3 h, 900 lbs

**UPDATE: Lucky is legged up and running top 2D at good races with tough horses in both the Open and Senior Divisions, with his senior rider.

Lucky is a solid finished barrel horse and is also started on poles. Sane and sound. He is talented, dependable, athletic and has a great mind. Lucky consistently runs 17.6 to 18.0 on standard patterns. He is a solid top of the 2D horse at nationally ranked barrel races and places in the 1D locally. He has been run at PRCA, NRA, amateur and college rodeos. At the state NBHA finals last year, he out ran several Montana Pro Circuit horses. Runs in a twisted wire snaffle, no tie down, but will run in almost anything (can ride him everyday in a side pull). Ride him hard into all three barrels, won't run by a barrel. He is solid solid solid.

Lucky is well built, sound, and has great feet. He is short and stout, so he would be suitable for a youth or small adult. He has a laid back personality and would be a great step up horse. He is very easy to ride, and has almost a pleasure horse attitude. A pleasure to ride... whether at home, during warm up, in the hills, etc. He has a smooth, rocking chair lope and is a true gentleman. He is very well broke, with a soft face, leg aides and good brakes.

Lucky is a Push style horse with a Reining horse handle. Really puts his butt in the ground. Runs the same pattern inside and out.... the same every time. You can ride him very aggressive, or sit back and let him cruise.

Lucky would be a great step up horse for a youth or novice too. He will go whatever speed you want. He gets a little on the muscle when it's his turn to run, but is mellow compared to a lot of barrel horses.

Lucky has had one owner his entire life. And a good home is a MUST. He is a windsucker (cribber). Located in Montana.
