2006 sorrel mare, 14.3-15 hands, 900lbs
Lil Kim comes from reining, and working cowhorse lines. She has that gritty, tough rodeo horse blood and is all business on the barrels. She hunts the barrels but is never cheaty and doesn't hit barrels. She has the makings to be a great little open or college rodeo horse.
She placed at futurities and open jackpots and is ahead of the game on trashy ground. With limited competitions she has run mostly 2D at jackpots, with some 1D placings, and has run 17's on standard in trashy rodeo ground. She ran right with several tough rodeo horses on the bad ground. She won't run by a barrel and is the right kind to make a rodeo horse.
She has been hauled alot and handles road life well. She is very well broke, light in the face, good stop, flying lead changes, rollbacks etc. Can run her in a halter. She is very cowey and has roped the lead steer a little. She would love to do cattle events too. She is very quick footed and ratey, but doesn't cheat or try to hit barrels. She is all business on the barrels and you can hustle her all the way. Not suitable for beginners as she is very broke and quick.
