A Dasha Slickem
15yr Bay AQHA gelding, 15.1 hands, 1000lbs

Bullseye hits the mark if you are looking for a seasoned, solid, finished horse. He would be a great step-up horse or would be great for High School or College rodeo.  Clocks in the 1D locally and 2D at larger regional races.  Rarely falls out of the 1-2D.  Runs 1D pretty solidly in smaller arenas also. Has run a few low 17's on standard but more consistently runs 17.6-8, and that includes outdoor rodeo ground. Has run at a handful of ICA (amatuer) rodeos and placed.   He also is finished in poles.

He is more of a free runner.  To ride him you just hustle in and sit down at the rate spot, ride mostly with your legs and avoid getting on his face. He knows his job and doesn't need alot of jockeying.  He is good at the gate, gets on the muscle, but  has no refusal issues.

He has a great stop. He is extremely soft and will lift shoulder, move hip, stop, etc, all off of seat alone. You can move through the poles almost just by rocking your weight a little. Does not like a rider with heavy hands.

He has a fairly quiet nature, but also has a playfull streak. Ties overnight to the trailer and during the day.  No behavior problems. No vices.  He is suitable for an intermediate rider.  Probably not a true beginners horse.  But would be great as a step-up horse.

He is sound. Has gotten annual hock injections for maintenance. Vet checks welcome.

Price: $20,000  (not interested in any trades)
